This week I have enjoyed hatha flow 1 which is a great class
to be able to concentrate on how the poses are positioned with the instructor
Meaghan giving gentle guidance throughout.
She also gave some good advice about how we things and should look for
the good in everything first. On
Wednesday evening I enjoyed detox yoga again and I am finding this class to be
one of my favourites.
I have had three weeks of wonderful classes and the best
part has been the way they are conducted with the teachers giving guidance and
insights into the full yoga lifestyle throughout. I really feel like I am getting a complete
experience, not just a class with yoga poses, and this gives a great foundation
to be able to really live the lifestyle and follow it through into daily
living. I can now see how the poses connect and follow with your own breath.
For the next few weeks I am now moving this yoga challenge
outside the box a little bit and I am going to see if I can keep up doing yoga
four times a week, without the studio. I
will be back in England visiting the family so now I will be able to see how
much I have learned and remembered and how easy this will be to do while away
from the studio. I am looking forward to
putting into practice what I have learned in the studio, my family live along
the East coast and I am aiming to head down to the beach on the Summer Solstice
for sunrise and do my sun salutations there.
So a fun new part of this challenge awaits and I will
continue to blog about this as I go.
