Continuing the journey

I have been enjoying my 4 classes a week practice now since returning from England, and this time I have noticed that I am becoming more in tune with the teaching and training that I receive.  By this I mean that in the beginning, I was focused on what i was going to get out of it, rather than now where I give up my future expectations of the practice, and just let each class and day guide me through.  As I come out of a class, I feel honored to have learned something new yet again, and to have been able to take the time to join in the yoga community.

I read a Buddha quote this week that i found very moving and I wanted to share it, it said:

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful".

Since reading this, it seems to pop back into m head from time to time, and it makes me remember to be thankful for everything.  There are many wise quotes out there and what it means to each person is individual, and to me this one has stood out as a guide during my yoga practice this week.

I am excited this week as i am going away on another trip, this time to Idaho, America to visit my boyfriends brothers wedding.  The town is a small ski town and there happens to be a very nice looking yoga studio right there so i am hoping to try this out.  Meaghan has also let me know of another one nearer the airport so I am excited to be able to attend another community for a visit.  I will of course be packing my yoga mat and this trip is a camping/outdoors trip so I hope to do some yoga out by some new amazing scenery.

I will be back next week, to repot back on my latest yoga adventures from afar!
